Simple, beautiful design. Quality you can feel.
The Bilbao is one of our newest designs, combining a beautifully shaped glass shade with the practicality of our ultra-strong CELL50 refillable oil candle.
Sometimes the simplest designs are the most satisfying.
You know how certain things just feel right when you pick them up? A lovely weight, a pleasing shape and that reassuring feeling of quality?
The Bilbao is one of those.
Made from thick, high-quality glass, it has a substantial feel that sets it apart from ordinary candle holders.
The Crackled Glass version is our most popular Bilbao, allowing the natural beauty of the glass and the warm glow of the flame to take centre stage.
It’s a lovely choice for restaurant tables, hotel bars or anywhere you want beautiful candlelight without unnecessary fuss.
Four beautiful finishes.
The Bilbao is available in four finishes, including this classic Clear Glass version.
And there’s something worth knowing about our coloured Bilbao shades.
The colour is in the glass itself. It’s not painted on.
That means the coloured versions have a beautiful, integral colour rather than a surface coating.
Whether you choose the simplicity of clear glass or one of the coloured finishes, every Bilbao has the same reassuring weight and attractive shape.
Practical candlelight for everyday use.
Inside the Bilbao sits our ultra-strong CELL50 refillable glass oil candle.
With a 50 ml capacity, it provides approximately 12 hours of candlelight from a full refill, depending on the flame setting.
The CELL50 is easy to remove and refill, making the Bilbao particularly practical for busy restaurants.
Simply fill the CELL50 with Clearcraft lamp oil, place it inside the Bilbao shade and light the wick.
When the oil runs low, just refill it.
There’s no dripping wax, no scraping out candle holders and no need to keep buying replacement candles.
And when used with our exceptional-quality lamp oil and correctly maintained, you’ll enjoy sootless, odourless candlelight.
