A beautiful shape. A wonderfully practical candle.
Our Large Teardrop is a lovely combination of elegant design and exceptional practicality.
With its distinctive teardrop shape and beautifully clear glass, it’s an attractive candle that looks equally at home on a restaurant table, hotel bar or mantelpiece.
But there’s much more to this candle than its appearance.
The Large Teardrop is extremely robust, making it particularly suitable for busy restaurants and hotels where candles are used and handled every day.
And it has another rather lovely feature. You can fill the glass with decorative materials to create a candle that’s completely individual to you.
Make it your own.
One of the things we particularly like about the Teardrop is how easily you can change its appearance.
Its clear glass body offers the opportunity to introduce decorative materials, allowing you to create something that complements your surroundings.
You could choose materials to match your restaurant’s interior, introduce seasonal colours or create an attractive centrepiece for a special occasion.
It’s a wonderful way to make your candlelight a little more personal.
Important: Any decorative materials must be suitable for use with an oil candle and must not interfere with the wick or safe operation.
Spill-resistant for extra peace of mind.
The Large Teardrop features a specially designed spill-resistant wick holder.
This helps reduce the risk of lamp oil escaping if the candle is accidentally knocked over.
It’s an especially useful feature in busy hospitality environments, where candles may be moved around regularly.
Combined with the candle’s robust glass construction, it makes the Large Teardrop a practical choice for everyday use.
Beautiful candlelight without the mess of wax.
Unlike traditional wax candles, the Large Teardrop doesn’t melt away or lose its shape.
Simply fill it with Clearcraft lamp oil, light the wick and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of a real flame.
When the oil runs low, just refill it.
There’s no dripping wax, no scraping out candle holders and no need to keep buying replacement candles.
And when used with our exceptional-quality lamp oil and correctly maintained, you’ll enjoy sootless, odourless candlelight.
